Understand DNS, ownership verification, and HTTPS.
What to do
Domain automation requires deployment configuration and is not yet a complete self-service flow. The intended setup keeps your DNS provider: an A record for the root, a CNAME for a subdomain, and a TXT ownership record. Use only the actual values supplied by the operator. Do not delete email records. DNS pointing correctly does not by itself issue an HTTPS certificate.
